Furious 7 Trailer is Loud and Bombastic, but Perfect

By Cameron Cubbison · November 2, 2014

So Furious 7 is here. This franchise is starting to become the opposite of what the Michael Myers franchise has become (we are still drawing Halloween comparisons over here). As the Halloween series moves forward, it gets progressively worse – in fact, at points terrible is a much better suited term. With the Fast and Furious franchise, the series has actually found its legging and embraced what makes it a worthwhile series – action. The first and second film attempted to take themselves seriously – this was the obvious wrong route. From then on the series developed a sense of self-awareness and became progressively better, especially with the coordination of the action sequences.

The late Paul Walker, a not so great actor, but much better human being, continues to carry the series on his shoulders with Diesel in this seventh entry. We can't speak much from a scripting standpoint on any of these films (as this aspect is all but non-existent), but the action is well staged and worth the ticket price.
