Weekly News and Announcements:

The Nashville Film Festival Announces Finalists in 4th Annual Screenwriting Competition

54 finalists were selected from around the world, all placing within a variety of different genre and format categories. The grand prize winners will be announced at the Nashville Film Festival, which runs from April 20th, to the 29th. 

ScreenCraft Announces the Semi Finalists in Their 4th Annual Screenwriting Fellowship

Full list available at the link. This year, the semifinalists represent the top 10 percent of the scripts submitted. Chosen recipients receive ongoing professional support along with key introductions to industry movers and shakers.

Semi Finalists Announced in the WeScreenplay Shorts Screenwriting Contest

WeScreenplay has announced the 38 entries advancing to the semi-round for a fourth read. The winning script will receive a 10 thousand dollar production grant to be used as the filmmakers see fit. Check the link for the full list.
