Sarah was born and raised in St. Louis, which she left behind for higher education in Atlanta. A city twice the size of her hometown apparently wasn’t big enough, because after college she moved to the really big city: New York. During her ten years in NYC Sarah has worked in cable TV marketing, received her Master of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology, and gone on to work in community management at a tech startup. She wrote her Master’s thesis on profiling serial homicide, but you’ll have to ask her for the gory details. She also has a story or two about her three-month internship conducting face-to-face surveys with mentally ill criminals on the forensic psychiatric unit at Belleville Hospital. Currently, Sarah writes an incredibly nerdy orchid blog, volunteers with a cat rescue organization, and enjoys eating anything with cheese.
