Class Description: An 8-week class in the principles of writing scenes for cinema and television. Emphasis is placed upon the essentials of screenplay character, story, structure, and form as applied to specific scene types: seduction, opposites, reversals, revelation, etc. The class will include concept and assignment instruction, viewing specific scene type examples, workshop readings, and group feedback.
