Known for his roles as Jimmy in "Boardwalk Empire" and films like "Funny Games" and "Last Days," Michael Pitt returns in Mike Cahill's "I Origins." Pitt plays Ian Gray, a molecular biologist who uncovers evidence that could change science forever. He stars alongside Brit Marling who collaborated with Cahill previously on "Another Earth." Pitt talks to ATW about what drew him to the part, working in indie film and being at Sundance.
