Based on a true story, "Rob the Mob" follows the love story of two misfits Tommy (Michael Pitt) and Rose (Nina Arianda) as they hatch a plan to steal from the mob. Big time reporter Jerry, played by Romano, takes notices and does a piece about about the modern day Bonnie & Clyde. Andy Garcia also stars as Big Al, the mob boss. Romano and De Felitta ("City Island") talk tone, comedy and basing the film on true events.
