Jesse Zwick’s directorial debut “About Alex” premiered last Thursday night at the Tribeca International Film Fest. The film centers on a group of college friends that reunite for a weekend after their best friend Alex tries to commit suicide. Jason Ritter plays Alex and is surrounded by an incredible comedic cast including Max Greenfield (‘New Girl”), Aubrey Plaza (“Parks and Recreation”) and Maggie Grace (“Taken”). I sat down with Zwick to discuss the script, getting together the cast and that close, college friendship.
