The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is back, but this time not in the form of some crappy, Michael Bay produced remake (mind you the trailer cut is not that bad). This is the old blood and guts we all know and love. Albeit this film had zero going for it in the plotting department, it did coin a villain that will forever be remembered. It also went against the Carpenter formula of highly meticulous cinematography over blood and gore. This movie's backbone is gore, but it is used effectively.
