This week's pick might seem a little basic, but we chose this sci-fi flick for a reason. Sadly, science fiction films are a dime a dozen, but the few that rise tend to be well constructed, human stories. Extraterrestrial plays on every "alienism" in the book, but it does it with solid sound editing and cinematography that is haunting. This is perfectly fine in our book. We are excited to see if The Vicious Brothers can transcend the genre and make this sci-fi film their own.
