This is Leigh Whannell's first stab at taking the Insidious directing chair and we are thoroughly interested to see what he can do from a visual standpoint. Whannell wrote Chapter I and basically wrote all of Chapter II (with some story collaboration from Wan), but making the jump to director on a franchise like this is no easy task. In fact, this is his first directing gig ever. No pressure, right? He has a lot to live up to, as this is one of Wan's most intriguing subject matters. The original film was flat out terrifying.
Can Whannell live up to the standard? Surpass it? Let us know.
