Happy Valley hits the jugular on the Penn State / Sandusky case that shocked America, and specifically lifelong fans. Sandusky was charged with tens of counts of child abuse, molestation, etc., but the documentary dials in its thesis to be: how was this not spotted? It presents Sandusky, Paterno and the administration as a buffer that filters what the world should see vs what the world needs to see.
This takes the slot for our Trailer of the Week, as we feel this topic on a whole needs to be exposed more on a whole, with filmmaking at the core of the exposure.
