Exhaling from a couple of busted comedies, James Franco and Jonah Hill are back in the dramatic saddle and they seem to be enjoying it. Teaming up with first time feature director Rupert Goold, the two Academy Awards nominated actors look to flex their acting muscles with a true story that has shades of Dead Man Walking.
Granted Hill has been shifting to the dramatic side of the fence for a while now (with a great performance in The Wolf of Wall Street), Franco has been stuck in a limbo of botched projects (most notable being Child of God). It is refreshing to see him back in a role that seems to offer him some leg room. Not to mention it wil be nice to see Hill and Franco fire back at each other.
