This past week was one of the best of the year so far in terms of trailer drops. We had Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Mad Max: Fury Road and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
We would love to choose all, but Batman v Superman did snag the win. Why? Ben Affleck and one very smart decision. That decision? Batman’s voice. We are not 100% sure if it is tied to him wearing the armored suit, but we think it stems from this. Not to mention the voice editing is perfect – far better than Bale’s Batman voice.
We are excited to see what characters will be shown in the next trailer as well (between Wonder Woman, Lex Luther, Aquaman, Cyborg and potentially The Flash). We tried to tap into this when we talked with the film’s screenwriter, David S. Goyer, but his lips were sealed.
