Another day, another trailer. We aren’t complaining…yet. In fact, we like this cut for Jurassic World. It’s at least going for campy comedy. Can it pull it off? Will it be the right mixture of Pratt jabs in between action sequences that are almost guaranteed to be good? Maybe. Maybe not. One thing’s a lock: we know everything will be explained from start to finish from every character at every turn.
Our hopes with Jurassic World are that it goes the same route as Live Free or Die Hard did. It was an unexpected success due to good casting, comedic writing, over the top action sequences and overall brute strength. Hopefully, Jurassic World can find that magic balance for two hours and welcome us back to the park the right way.
