1. INCITING INCIDENT
Reed convinces Julia that it ‘s a good idea to go to San Francisco to surprise her boyfriend, Harrison, for Valentine’s Day. (00:18:25)
2. LOCK IN (End of Act One)
Harrison goes into Reed’s flower shop. Reed recognizes him and discovers that he’s sending flowers to two different women, Julia and another woman. (00:38:45)
3. FIRST CULMINATION (Midpoint)
After Morley accepts Reed’s marriage proposal, she changes her mind and leaves Reed later that day. (00:54:45)
4. MAIN CULMINATION (End of Act Two)
Reed tries to warn Julia about Harrison, but she doesn’t listen to him. She goes to San Francisco and discovers that he’s married. She gets revenge by confronting him and his wife in a restaurant. (01:18:25)
5. THIRD ACT TWIST
When Julia returns home, she and Reed meet on a bridge and kiss. They both agree it’s awkward and “not great” – so they try again. Meanwhile Morley calls, but Reed does not answer. (01:55:28)
