The new Netflix movie Let it Snow is a fun, heartfelt Christmas story that features a group of teenagers struggling to find love in the midst of a snowstorm. The film is based on the book Let it Snow: Three Holiday Romances by popular YA novelists John Green, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle. You may remember John Green’s book The Fault in our Stars was turned into the 2014 film of the same name starring Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort. In this podcast, Green tells the story of how his very first novel, Looking for Alaska, sold to Paramount over a decade ago and finally became a limited series on Hulu all these years later.
The writers also share some important tips for anyone interested in writing in the Young Adult space.
Let it Snow is currently streaming on Netflix.
