This week's trailer is not for the faint of heart. Long in production, American Sniper has now released its first teaser trailer…and it couldn't be more intense. It is a little early in the game to start calling out plot points and themes, but hey, that's what Trailer of the Week is all about.
We see a beyond relaxed Bradley Cooper playing real life Chris Kyle, the most lethal sniper on the block with 150 confirmed kills. Whoa. Talk about having some inner demons. What made the TSL team choose this was its complete 180 from laid back to pulse-pounding tension within just a few seconds. We are thrown into a decision that must be made o the spot, and could save lives or take one very young one.
Be prepared. Your knuckles are soon to be white.
