Meet Dawn Luebbe and Jocelyn DuBoer, writers/directors and stars of the delightfully strange comedy Greener Grass. The movie is set in a surreal suburbia where everyone wears braces on their perfectly straight teeth, boys turn into dogs and pool water is delicious.
Dawn and Jocelyn talk about making their short film of the same name, selling their idea as a TV show –only to have that venture fall through – and then finding success making their feature film. They also share their experience of working on a small budget and how this surprising accessory was the largest line item in their budget.
Greener Grass is currently playing in limited release and on streaming platforms like Amazon.
