The WGA sits down with a slew of heavy hitters a few years ago and probes them on what makes a screenwriter successful.
The biggest question that is tackled is “do you agree with the notion of ‘write what you know?'” Each and every answer is a good, calculated response; some swaying towards “yes” and others towards “no way!”
Do you agree with this question? Should you write only what you know? Or should you try to expand your universe with your writing?
