1. INCITING INCIDENT
Dr. Chris Kelvin (George Clooney) is urged by his friend, Dr. Gibarian (Ulrich Tukur) to visit his spacecraft orbiting the planet Solaris and help him explain the mysteriousness happening to him and his crew. Kelvin arrives and discovers two bodies – Dr. Gibarian's and an exact copy of Gibarian. (00:11:08)
2. LOCK IN (End of Act One)
After dreaming of his deceased wife, Rehya, (Natasha McElhorne) she wakes up beside Kelvin on the spacecraft. Kelvin cannot bear her presence and sends her away in an escape pod. (00:28:57)
3. FIRST CULMINATION (Midpoint)
Rehya's copy appears again. Kelvin chooses not to send her away. (00:49:45)
4. MAIN CULMINATION (End of Act Two)
Kelvin unravels after he finds Rheya's copy commits suicide, mirroring her actual death, then witnesses her reanimation. (1:05:41)
5. THIRD ACT TWIST
Kelvin finds Rheya's copy has left a video suicide message explaining that she convinced Gordon (Viola Davis) to send her away permanently. Kelvin, once again left to live with Rhea's loss, confronts Gordon. They both discover Snow (Jeremy Davies) has been murdered and his body stashed by his copy. (1:19:43)
